About the Training
In the third of five foundational management sessions, designed for Orchard to support the team as you move to a pod structure, we'll be looking at the all important skill of Delegating and Briefing.
In this 90-minute virtual session you'll learn how to brief teams, providing clarity and accountability. You'll come away from this session with a clearer idea of how to step up and let go, learning how to build a culture of ownership and initiative, resulting in improved performance.
Specifically we'll look at how to:
Deliver consistently clear, thorough briefs
Strike the perfect balance between ‘remote’ and ‘approachable’ – managerial, not matey
Manage communication between you and your team, efficiently
Check for understanding, providing space for questions and recognising incongruous nonverbal signals
Know how and when to ask for help
