11:00 - 14:00
Hi Adam & Andy,
This programme consists of two sessions; the first will be delivered face to face and the second, virtually, a month later. This structure has been designed to give you both the techniques to be assertive as well as the space to reflect, apply new skills and return with insights and questions to help deepen your capability.
You will both come away being able to find your voice with colleagues (and clients), enabling you to increase your impact, elevate your leadership credentials and manage a team whilst keeping an eye on the business’s commercial imperatives.
The sessions will combine training and coaching. Through a blended approach of theory, videos, exercises, discussion and self-critical thinking, You will both come away being able to:
Appreciate being assertive and its benefits
Recognise the cost of not being assertive
Deal with dominant colleagues, in a way that is ‘elegantly assertive’
Learn how to structure and deliver important conversations
Use assertive language to land his message
Leverage non-verbal techniques to increase his presence
Manage internal blockers such as imposter syndrome and critical voice
““Lots of very helpful tools that can help deliver more effective leadership and get more from my teams to help me focus on my own career progression whilst benefitting others.”
”
““Izzy was great and created an environment for open and honest conversation without judgment.””
““The session enabled us to consider not only how we could better manage and motivate our teams, but also how we can ensure the support to achieve our own objectives.””
